A Three-Part Workshop Dec 2025 and Jan 2026
Honouring Your Grief When the World Feels Festive
The holiday season can intensify grief, especially if you recently lost a loved one. Traditions, memories, and familiar routines highlight the absence of the person you love. Sensory cues — music, scents, gatherings — can trigger unexpected waves of emotion, while the social pressure to “be cheerful” may feel overwhelming or isolating.
This 3-part workshop, designed for anyone dreading their first holiday season without their loved one, offers a small, intimate space (up to 8 participants) to support you through this tender time with compassion, grounding, and gentle guidance.
This gentle, structured workshop series will provide:
- A warm, supportive space to share and be witnessed
- Tools for navigating holiday triggers and emotional surges
- Somatic and mindfulness practices for regulation
- Practical planning for holidays, gatherings, and boundaries
- Ways to honour your loved one through meaningful rituals
- A post-holiday integration session to support settling and reflection
